About Me

All About Me

Having a unwavering love for humanity and society, I hoped one day to be in a position to inspire others, become a difference maker and a vessel of transformation. Therefore I chose the field of Social Work, and the art of therapy to assist in this endeavor. After completing my formal education, I entered the military, then on to complete a Bachelor's of Science degree, next Masters degree in 1996. Since, I've been on the front lines of assisting at risk youth, and young adults within the Orleans Parish School; until August 2005. I was next afforded an opportunity to serve in Corrections as a mental health worker, and later as supervisor within the Department of Corrections. I next jumped at the chance to work with the military, servicing active service members and their families. However that role took me away from home longer than expected, so I therefore answered the call to return to the Orleans Parish Schools, where I share my time with this practice. Although I made a circle, I returned with vast, awareness, knowledge and skills which further support my desire to be a difference maker. My credentials includes being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. My License number with the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners is 5819
